Coordinates, supports and promotes a variety of confidential corporate wellness programs throughout the enterprise.
Provides input into the development of new wellness initiatives and improvements to processes and procedures.  Responds to inquiries and researches information.  Oversees the employer’s gym facilities and liaises with various external service providers.


1. Coordinates, supports and promotes a variety of confidential corporate wellness programs, including the Employee and Family Assistance Program, Flu Immunization Clinics, Health and Wellness Fairs, Fitness Assessments, Fitness Challenges, Monthly Newsletters and Corporate Wellness Lunch and Learns.

2. Provides support services to corporate wellness programs and projects by analysing and researching data, collecting, checking and compiling information and preparing materials for reports, presentations and documents. Provides input into the development of new wellness initiatives and improvements to processes and procedures.

3. Responds to employee and management enquiries, researches information and serves as the primary contact for the Corporate Wellness initiatives throughout the enterprise.

4. Oversees the employer’s gym facilities and liaises with various external service providers in regards to implementing various corporate wellness initiatives, fitness classes and coordinates equipment maintenance.

5. Manages all confidential forms relating to wellness initiatives, including gym waiver forms.

6. Coordinates and promotes various initiatives and campaigns throughout the enterprise.

7. Provides back up support to the Human Resources Coordinators as necessary.

8. Performs related duties in keeping with the purpose and accountabilities of the job.



Certificate in Human Resources or related discipline, with courses in health and wellness.


Minimum of two years experience in a unionized environment administering wellness and rehabilitation programs, including experience handling sensitive and highly confidential information.

Other Requirements:

– Solid knowledge of corporate wellness practices and programs.

– Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, multi-task, and able to meet multiple deadlines.

– Exceptional organizational skills.

– Ability to effectively coordinate, analyze and research a variety of wellness programs and initiatives.

– Takes initiative, is self-directed and is able to identify and focus on priorities.

– Solid knowledge of standard Office tools including word processing, spreadsheet and web-based systems.

Other Information

Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

Work Schedule

37.5 hours per week.

This position is full-time temporary for eight (8) months.

Work Designation


This position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely within B.C.

Rate of Pay

Salary starting from $55,824 per annum

The Total Compensation Package includes Extended Health, Transit Pass and enrollment in the Public Service Pension Plan upon eligibility.
